surrendering oneself, physically and/or spiritually, to life experiences. At what point does physical pain and bodily injury force an individual to either fight back or throw in the towel? At what point does an individual who has lost faith in God recover it, if ever? And once an individual discovers the answer to any or all of these, which may reoccur throughout a lifetime, how does one proceed forward from that point? These facets and more are subtly examined within the pages of the novel. The book itself is offered in paperback and Kindle formats. With multiple deadlines looming, I opted to download it to my Smartphone. Not my usual choice as I prefer to actual hold and thumb through the pages of a book which is more durable whereas the download is toast should I misplace or break my phone. Nonetheless, I was impressed with how tangible and clear the characters and situations came across with only a black and white text rendering on my phone display. The storyline is strong enough to stir up the readers imagination and convey plenty of emotion without the aid of digital imagery or illustrations. Now, lest you wonder “what the heck is this book doing on BikerHotline’s book review page?”, Tracey Cramer-Kelly has been a “biker chick” since she was 16 years old and describes it as her “greatest escape”. She is also the co-owner of the motorcycle accessories businesses Leader Motorcycle (www.leadermotorcycle.com) and Desert Dawgs (www.desertdawgs.com). In addition to being a biker, business owner and published author, she is also a singer/musician. I would sincerely recommend this book as a perfect read for a lazy weekend afternoon or two with enough time to mull over the thought provoking conflicts encountered by Cramer-Kelly’s characters. For more details, visit www.TraceyCramerKelly.com where there are also “interviews” with the characters in True Surrender.
