These pictures are of a prototype rigid. One of 3 with a 2” radius backbone,1 1/4” frame, 40 deg neck, radius down tubes. Some of the other details are the engine and trans are in the center of the frame, a 1 3/4” splined jack shaft allows the use of a 330/360 tire and a stock left side drive trans without the use of spacers and shaft extensions. A disk brake rotor is used on the jack shaft to eliminate the clutter of the rotor/caliper on the rear wheel. We fabricated a 12” X 17” rim with two rows of 40 spokes and an 80 radial spoke 21” in front with the help of Ed Smith at Hallcraft.
The complete girder, trees, dog bones, and bars were built in house on our specialized equipment and custom fixtures. The coffin gas tank is the focal point of this bike complimenting our coffin line of mirrors and pegs. The seat was done by Vince Delgado, Seat Works in Sacramento CA. The engine is STD alternator-generator, S&S pistons and heads, Carrillo rods, Axtell cylinders, Truet & Osborne wheels etc. We are using a 45mm Webber carb and Sputhe enclosed primary. Rear fender is modified Fat Katz, oil bag is under the trans, oil filer is inside the generator shell. The hydraulic clutch, trap door, forward controls, seat pan, battery covers and all custom axels, trick stainless bolts and nuts , license bracket and tail light were all fabricated in our machine shop.
