Bonneville Speed Week 2008 had plenty for the motorcycle enthusiast to check out.
I guess my favorite was the team originally from New Zealand who, after setting a record with a Harley Flathead, were busy de-tuning it. When I asked them what was up, they said that Grandpa was turning 85 the next day and wanted to make a run down the Salt. Sure enough, the next day Grandpa made a run of 185 mph to celebrate his birthday!
 There were bikes of every kind and vintage and the records were falling one after another. If you are into bikes, you should plan a trip to Bonneville for Speed Week. You won't regret it!
