Here are a few shots of mine from an event called the Great Race which is a very competitive reliability trail between Indian and Harley-Davidson motorcycles manufactured before 1958.
This is a tremendous event that has been held in various locations over the years between Melbourne and Sydney which are Australia's two largest cities.
These photos are taken in the Victorian Alps and the country side is excellent for riding motorcycles with your mates.
The photo of the large statue is Australia's most infamous Outlaw Ned Kelly who wore a suit and helmet of metal for protection during his battles with the authorities back in the 1850's. It is located in the country town of Glenrowan in the Alps region which is a snow resort during winter.
I noticed on Biker Hotline, which I have been reading for awhile that you have asked readers to send in shots of rallies etc...so here is a good example of what us Aussie riders experience here down under.
If any of your readers wanted any further information on the Great Race or would like to compete they can contact www.harleycity.com.au.
Regards, BALDY
