Bikers ~ Start Your Engines!
On Sunday, November 2, the Red Lion Pub is sponsoring the 2nd Annual Pet Rescue By Judy Charity Poker Run. Registration is at 9am at The Red Lion Pub, 3784 Howell Branch Road, Winter Park, Florida.  The first bike leaves at 10am. Cost is $15 per bike and $5 for an additional hand.  Two, three, and four wheels are welcome! Enjoy a home cooked breakfast before you leave. The scenic ride includes stops at The Hitching Post in Chuluota, The Foxhead Lounge in Osteen, the Bar Outback in Sanford, Wolfy’s in Sanford, Casselberry Veterans, and then back to The Red Lion in Winter Park for a BBQ and entertainment. Last year’s run was on August 5, 2007.  More than 200 bikers came out to support the Pet Rescue by Judy Poker Run sponsored by the Red Lion Pub in Winter Park.  Stops included County Line Loyal Order of the Moose, Hard Racks Night Club, Lone Cabbage Fish Camp, and the Hitching Post.  Fun included a different activity at each stop including a Pie in the Face Contest.  The event raised more than $10,000 for Pet Rescue by Judy - which is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue of dogs and cats in central Florida.
