Roving Reporter Art Hall is in Thailand for the Burapa Bike Week 2009

His coverage is nothing short of astounding.

The opening events of Burapa Pattaya Bike Week 2009 in Pattaya got off to a fine start with the Street Party in Jomtien Soi 4.
Richard Rhodes of Nirvana Boutique Suites, the MC, gave an introductory speech, stressing the need to contribute to charity and wishing all well in what was to be a nonstop event.  Over 5000 bikes turned up, making it the best attended Bike Week event ever.
Six stages were the venues for the Thai bands, the Western bands having played at the opening night. Lam Morrison, Thailand's rock legend and emulator of Hendrix and Clapton, was well received, as were Carabao, Thailand's best loved band.
Bike stalls there were aplenty, displaying some of the best choppers, custom jobs and other Harleys around, including the entire range of 09 Harleys; all of which attracted a steady throng of admirers.  Cars, too, played their part, with the American Car Display.

We greatly appreciate Art sending us these pictures while on his trip.  The Burapa Bike Week 2009 looked like there was a huge turnout and the sites to be seen without number.
