Loyal fans turned out regardless of wet weather
One BikerHotline reader who attended joked that they canceled the Drag Races and held Boat races instead. Nonetheless, the rain did not deter good sized crowds from attending this popular biker event. Most of the vendors and over 600 cars were there for the fans that showed up. Three bands, the art auction, and the always popular pinup contest had plenty of competitors to round out the day’s entertainment.
It rained, stopped, rained and then it rained again. Everybody was soaked through. In an area that seldom rains, no one was really equipped with umbrellas or rain gear so most people were soggy. Roving reporter Bart Mitchell attended and sent us some fantastic pictures as always.
