This year’s Biketoberfest in Daytona was by far the best in years,Hotels giving discounts,Police that were helpful instead of angry because they had to work, but don't get me wrong if you deserved it you got nailed, better attitudes and better latitudes. We started at Willy's Tropical Tattoo and the Old school chopper show and  didn't stop until the wee hours of the morning, slept for awhile then off again back to riding up and down Main St. and the Riverfront Park down to the New Indian store to see what was new, however I personally see beauty in Harley but miss it in Indian, but they are American made and here to stay,I guess it's like ice cream I hate chocolate, but love strawberry that's how important it is to me.It's not about what you ride, just that you do ride.

The Cabbage Patch along with the Cackleberry campground were fun and both were stuffed with people more there than down town it was hot sunny and as busy as a bee hive some of the best looking bikes in Daytona were at those two spots not to take away from The Rat's Hole Competition, which is great but getting smaller since leaving the Water park to which seemed to be a bigger and better venue, none the less fun beautiful machines, food, sun and people every where in fact the best Florida weather in awhile. On the next day we started at Destination Daytona where we were entertained by stage groups like Saints and Sinners, Nova Rex and baby Punchface, there was Harley Demo rides,Bagger show and a total host of venders that could customize your ride while you waited,it was a rich mans paradise, and a poor mans eye candy.

Moving from Destination Daytona after hours of fun to almost the Iron Horse last call saloon, landing at the always fun Broken Spoke and the best party in town, now that it is back again! On stage was Jared Blake doing his new CD "Til Morning Light" the guy was great and the place was packed,if it gets better I didn't find it and there I met new friends like Daniel Newkirk, Carol Tanner and Dedra Sanderson along with Larry Scott new friends that made the trip to Daytona more fun.The venue at the Broken Spoke included Mustang Sally, Cold hard Cash, and Brian Howe as well as Jared Blake so entertainment at it's best was why we closed the place and rode home again in the early morning hours,it was good we can rest when we finally head to our real homes and back to the mundane so for us it was a journey to short for the fun we were having...........IN LOVING MEMORY for Tommy my brother and Mark Lang
