“It took 3 ½ years to build, “ says creator Gregory Dunham. “When people ask me why I built it, I say because it was my dream, and I wanted to prove that impossible tasks can be accomplished by hard work and to inspire ALL to follow their dreams and prove ALL things are possible to those who believe!” Jay Leno of the Tonight Show has featured the bike.
“This you have to see to believe it,” says Wayne Austin, president and CEO of the San Bernardino Convention & Visitors Bureau. “Make sure to bring your camera to the Berdoo Bikes & Blues Rendezvous to capture all of these incredible bikes. Ozzie Osbourne’s custom bike, Vince Neil’s from Mötley Crüe, along with stunts being performed by RAS Racing and Team Peterson N.A.H.A. and non-stop music, it doesn’t get any better than this.”
The SBCVB has partnered with the San Bernardino City Professional Firefighters – Local 891 and the City of San Bernardino to create a springtime event featuring motorcycles and music on the downtown streets of San Bernardino. Tickets are on sale through their Web site at www.route-66.org and are also available for purchase at “Our Town” the retail partner of the California Welcome Center – San Bernardino, located at 1955 Hunts Lane, off Hospitality Lane in San Bernardino.
