Schedule of Events


7 am – Sixth Annual Mayor’s Ride, starts at Lazelle and 4th Streets downtown Sturgis.

8-10 am - Sturgis AA Meeting Breakfasts, with daily meetings at 11 am, 2 pm, 5 pm and 8 pm, 1222 Junction Avenue.

8 am-8 pm - Sturgis Motorcycle Museum & Hall of Fame, 999 Main Street.

8-11 am - DFT Trikes Demo Rides, Black Hills Harley-Davidson, Rapid City (bring your own helmet).

9:00 am-4:20 pm every 20 min. - Lehman Trikes Assembly Plant and Distribution Center Factory Tours, at their facility in Spearfish (I-90, Exit 14).

9 am-4 pm on the half hour - Lehman Trikes Demo Rides, at their facility in Spearfish (I-90, Exit 14).

9 am-4 pm - First Wesleyan Church Free Bike Wash, 1638 Junction Avenue in Sturgis.

9 am-4 pm - Harley-Davidson® and Buell® Demo Rides, Rapid City Civic Center (I-90, exit 57).

9 am-5 pm - Free Harley-Davidson® Bike Wash, Civic Center in Rapid City (I-90, exit 57).

9 am-5 pm - Harley-Davidson® Festival, Civic Center in Rapid City (I-90, exit 57).

9 am-5 pm - Harley-Davidson® New Product Show, at the Civic Center in Rapid City (I-90, exit 57).

9 am-5 pm - Harley-Davidson® Traveling Museum, at the Civic Center in Rapid City (I-90, exit 57).

9 am-7 pm - Thunder Road Vendor Showcase (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort)

9 am-7 pm - Michael Lichter’s Motorcycle-As-Art Exhibit “Stay Gold” in the Thunderdome at Thunder Road (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort).

9 am-7 pm - Cope Chop Shop featuring Eric Gorges of Voodoo Choppers will be at the main entrance to Thunder Road (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort).

10 am - Meet the Motorcycle Monster at Thunder Road.

horse10 am-6 pm - THE HORSE Backstreet Choppers Sturgis Bike Show, ($5 admission to Thunderdome, free parking & Glencoe Gold campers get in free) at Thunder Road (East Hwy 34). Guest judges include: Billy Lane (Choppers, Inc.), Paul Cox, Russell Mitchell (Exile Cycles), Keino Sasaki, Mondo Parras (Denver Choppers), Eric Gorges (VooDoo Choppers), Bill Dodge, Jeff Cochran and Donnie Loos (Sucker Punch Sally’s), and Athena Ransom (Vagabond Choppers).

10 am-6 pm - Seminole Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Roadhouse Celebrity Bike Tour, in the Thunderdome at Thunder Road (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort).

10 am-6 pm - V8 Chopper Demo Rides, by appointment, Thunder Road (12990 State Hwy 34E).

10 am-6 pm - Strokers Sturgis, a little slice of Dallas in the heart of the Thunderdome. Rick Fairless presents the baddest bikes, coldest beer, and hottest chicks including the Strokers Bikini Team in the Thunderdome at Thunder Road (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort).

11 am – Jackpine Gypsies Amateur Hill Climb.

11 am – Meet the Motorcycle Monster at the Sturgis Bike Week Super Store at 1081 Main Street.

11 am-9 pm - Lucky Daredevil Thrillshow, Broken Spoke Campground.

11:30 am-5 pm – Miss Sturgis & The Girls of Sturgis Bike Week sign autographs and give away free calendars inside the Thunderdome at Thunder Road (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort).

Official World Championship of Custom Bike Building, Champions Park, Lazelle Street.

1-3 pm - ABATE Motorcycle Rodeo, Buffalo Chip Campground.

1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm - Jason Britton & the No Limit Extreme Stunt Riders, Top 50 Rally Park.

1 pm, 5 pm – J. Pullen, Harley-Davidson Stunt Rider, Top 50 Rally Park.

1:30 pm - Icon Fashion Show, second show starts at 5:30 pm, Top 50 Rally Park.

2-4 pm - H20cean presents The Art Fusion Experiment, featuring Tobe Drew and Troy Anast from On The Edge Tattoo in Bowling Green, Ohio, and Marshall Bennett of Eternal Tattoo in Eastpointe, Michigan in the Thunderdome at Thunder Road (12990 East Hwy 34, next to Glencoe CampResort).

6-8:30 pm - Baker Drivetrain’s Burnouts in the Sky, Buffalo Chip Campground.

7:30 pm – Kiss: The Alive 35 Tour plays at Rock’n the Rally, Hwy 79 north of Glencoe CampResort
