September 2007 ~ This past April HackerPipes announced the release of its newest exhaust for Harley Davidson touring models, the Tru-Duels. The Tru-Duels offer stepped pipes for unbeatable performance in the classic look of dual pipes. HackerPipes' Tru-Duels exhaust uses equal length pipes from the engine head all the way to the end for the best performance. They accomplish this by creating a 160 degree bend from the rear cylinder back around to the left side of the bike. In addition to equal length pipes, the Tru-Duels are stepped to increase flow and horsepower while increasing torque. This exhaust system was designed with the intention of out performing every other dual pipe on the market. The pipes start at the heads with 1 ¾ diameter pipes which are standard with most Harley Davidson pipes, and then the pipe diameter is stepped to 2 inch before meeting the 3 ¼ inch muffler. The result is a twin pipe that provides the best in all around streetable performance, even for the larger displacement motors. For complete details about these pipes click here
