We wish to thank you for your participation in The RAACE Foundation’s 2nd Annual Rally for RAACE charity motorcycle ride held on August 19, 2007. It rained and it poured, but you still came out to support us - and sure, by the time the Harford Sheriff’s Office led us out from Jones Junction we were all pretty much wet. But, Sir Psycho, troopers that they are, played on as we jumped on our bikes for the 43-mile journey thru Harford County. And, I don’t know about all of you, but how about riding directly under our American Flag? It gave me chills, and reminded me that a little storm was nothing – and protecting our children is our right! What about all the volunteer fire departments at the intersections? It was a site to see all of them standing out in the rain to support our ride. Ok, I know, most of the ride was a blur and we could have really used wipers for our glasses, and of course, by the time we actually got to Chesapeake Harley-Davidson, we were soaked thru and thru. I am still drying out.  But there was food and drink when we got there and Sir Quentin & the Barnstormers entertained us. All and all, it was a very good day and for a good cause… and the rally, which by the way, we had over 117 bikes, confirmed what we already knew - motorcyclists have huge hearts! We thank you! Read on for recap – donations, raffles, pictures, 2008 Rally, Roast for RAACE, etc.

Rally ……RECAP!

With your help, The RAACE Foundation raised over $15,000.00 and educated thousands of community members throughout Maryland & surrounding areas about the horrific epidemic of Child Sexual Abuse.
Only when the problem of sexual abuse is faced openly can we hope to protect our children. It takes courage, determination and the efforts of many to make a difference in the fight against child sexual abuse. We thank you for your participation.
