 Jim Redstone of Sallisaw, Oklahoma owns this trike by the name of Trixie. She began life as a 2002 Harley Dyna Super Glide. She's been outfitted with a DFT trike kit. The motor is the stock TC88 with Mikuni smooth bore 42mm carburetor kit. The exhaust is non baffled with torque cones installed. The Dyna front end has been replaced with a custom wide glide style. Turn signal mirrors replace the ugly turn signals. There are lots of chrome additions, and custom paint completes the package. It is a really nice ride on the highways. It's a joy to cruise. While we're proud of her, she's not a show bike. She's ridden! We're planning on repainting her this winter. There is more to Jim’s story...He has kidney failure, and does dialysis. When his kidneys began to fail, he became quite sick. He lost weight and strength. Add to that, he had two strokes, and his balance was affected. It was then that he switched from two wheels to three. He’s been doing dialysis three days a week for about 8 years. He rides two wheels all right, but has trouble holding one up in slow maneuvers.
